Woman, you were not made to survive. You were made to live.

God has not called you to a life filled with uncertainty, doubt, and inner struggle. You are called to live in freedom.

I want to live in freedom

You know what God says. But deep down, it doesn’t feel that way.

You feel insecure. Like you’re not enough.
You struggle with negative thoughts and emotions, and events from your past keep replaying in your mind.

You love God. You know He is there, and you know His Word.
But still, sometimes He feels far away.

And maybe you even feel ashamed of it.
Shouldn’t I be further along by now? Why am I still unable to break free from this?

You notice that you keep falling back into the same patterns. You react out of fear, insecurity, anger, or sadness, even though you want to respond differently.

You know what God’s Word says, but your thoughts and feelings tell you something different.

And as a result, you don’t experience the freedom, peace, and stability you long for.

I believe that real change begins with:

Restoration in your relationship with God.

Restoration of how you see yourself through your identity in Christ.

And learning to stand in the authority you have in Christ, so that you are no longer controlled by your past, thoughts, and emotions, but learn to live from the truth of who God says you are.

Grow in intimacy

Grow in your relationship with God, the source of everything.

Know your identity

See yourself through His eyes and discover who you truly are in Christ.

Stand in authority

Take the place God has given you.

I want to stand strong in Christ.

Hi, I’m Naomi Appelhof, your Biblical counselor and identity mentor

Married to Mark, and together we have three wonderful children.

I come from a broken family and have been through some very difficult seasons in my life. I struggled with feelings of inferiority and felt rejected.

Even after I had been a Christian for many years and was actively involved in ministry, my identity in Christ was still a vague concept to me.

God has done a deep work in my life.

For more than 25 years, I have been helping women find healing and restoration, so that they can live in that freedom and use their gifts and talents for His Kingdom.

My approach is loving yet challenging, with room for both truth and grace.

A method that transforms lives

A method in itself changes nothing. But it can when it is given by God.

This identity framework was developed through prayer and close partnership with the Holy Spirit. It addresses five important themes that every woman encounters.

At its core are Biblical truths, because the Word of God is powerful and transformative, combined with psychological insights viewed through the lens of the Bible, drawn from my many years of experience as a counselor.

Through this framework, I have helped hundreds of women not only become stronger in their identity, but also step into what God is calling them to do.

Below, you can see the transformation process.

Hannie

When I had my first session with Naomi, I was an emotional wreck. I was struggling with the effects of my past, lacked a sense of purpose in my life, and couldn’t see a future for myself. I felt guilty, sad, and helpless.

I had to face my pain, my feelings of guilt, my shortcomings... And then it happened: I was able to lay everything at the foot of the cross, and God took away the pain! What a miracle!

3 Steps to Help You Stand Strong in Christ

Every woman wants to stand strong in her identity in Christ, but let me be honest with you: this doesn’t happen effortlessly. It requires commitment and dedication. In the video beside this text, I explain the process.

There are two ways to begin: you can start with the standalone Finding Rest in Christ course, or go straight into the full mentorship program. If you choose to take the course first, it will automatically count as the foundation when you later join the mentorship program. You won’t have to repeat anything.

Step 1: Finding Rest in Christ Course

(also available as a standalone course)

Find rest in Him

You’re tired. Not just from the busyness, but from the inner restlessness that just won’t stop. Finding Rest in Christ isn’t a course about doing more. It’s an invitation to learn how to simply be with Jesus.

Over five weeks, you’ll deepen your relationship with God, learn to calm your emotions, and renew your mind. Practical, honest, and grounded in the Bible.

This is the foundation of the entire journey. Not ready to make the full investment in the mentorship yet? Start here.

Do you want to learn how to stand firm in your identity? Then you can continue into the mentorship program, where this course is already included.

Step 2: Strong in Christ Mentorship

Rooted in who you are

With the foundation of Finding Rest in Christ—whether you completed it as a standalone course or as part of this program, you’ll now go one step deeper, learning how to stand firm in Christ in your everyday life.

I’ll guide you as both a counselor and mentor, alongside a group of women. Because there is something powerful about growing together in a group. We’ll go to the roots: your view of God, your past, your emotions, and your identity in Christ. And you’ll discover who you truly are in Him.

What we’ll work through together:

  1. Finding Rest — The Foundation (Step 1)

  2. Making Peace with Your Past

  3. Renewing Your View of God

  4. Transforming Your Emotions and Thoughts

  5. Your Unique Identity in Christ

  6. Building Healthy Relationships

More over mentorship

Step 3: Strong in Christ

Continuing to grow together

Strong in Christ Sisterhood is a place where you can continue growing together with other women. It is exclusively for women who have completed the six-month mentorship program or are currently participating in it.

You’ll be surrounded by women who share the same mindset and desire to grow. Here, you’ll build relationships, walk alongside one another, and be strengthened to stand firm through every circumstance.

Sisterhood is about more than simply spending time together. We lift each other up.

Marianne

Before the program, I was emotionally all over the place. I often reacted from a place of deep pain and unworthiness, which didn’t always make me the wife, mother, or person I wanted to be. I felt bad about it and desperately wanted to change, but I simply didn’t know how to do that on my own. That’s why I decided to join this program.

Through this program, I have made peace with my past through forgiveness and by allowing myself to process the emotions I had bottled up for so long. This has brought healing to deep wounds in my soul and has given me greater peace and a deeper sense of surrender to God.
